How To Unlock All Ashen Pass Shrine In Black Myth: Wukong
HIGHLIGHTS
- Ashen Pass I, II, and III are three different Shrines in Chapter 5 of Black Myth: Wukong that you can unlock defeating bosses in game.

Black Myth: Wukong is an action-based, Chapter progressive RPG based on the Chinese Novel Journey To The West.
You can walk through the game’s map to various locations, but if you have unlocked the Keeper’s Shrine, you can directly travel.
There are 3 Ashen Passes in this Chapter, which you must unlock by defeating bosses to progress in the game.
Unlock All The Pass Shrine Of Chapter 5
In the Chapter 5 walkthrough, you will encounter many bosses. Upon defeating them on your way, you can locate Keeper’s Shrine and weave needles in them to unlock.
Ashen Pass I
Once you start in Chapter 5, you must defeat a couple of enemies. After defeating the enemies, pass through the giant door and follow the main path.
You will find your first shrine on the right on the main path. That shrine is the first Ashen Pass from where you will begin your journey in Chapter 5.
In this location, you will fight two bosses, Pale-Axe Stalwart and Brown-Iron Cart. After defeating the Pale-Axe Stalwart boss, talk to him, and he will give you a hint about the Secret Area in this chapter.
Ashen Pass II
To unlock the Ashen Pass II Keeper’s Shrine, start from Height of Ember, where you will encounter bosses like Father of Stones, Gray-Bronze Cart, and Fast As Wind + Quick As Fire.
Travel towards the door, slightly towards the left from the Height of Ember’s Shrine. Follow the path down the hill until you see a cave entrance.
After entering the cave, stick to the left and keep walking in the dark. You will see the exit, where the walls on your right are carved.
You will have to encounter Gray-Bronze Cart Boss here, whom you can defeat easily with your attacking skills.
After defeating the boss, start climbing the stairs, and you will reach another Shrine at the top of the stairs, Ashen Pass II.
Ashen Pass III
You must start your journey from The Emerald Hall in Furnace Valley and defeat a couple of bosses, Keeper of Flamming Mountains and Crimson-Silver Cart, to unlock Ashen Pass III.
Fast travel towards the bridge from the hall, climbing stairs, and crossing the water in the middle.
You can keep following the path straight towards the tree and take right on the stairs. You will find some enemies on the way, but it’s up to you whether you fight or ignore them.
As you reach the top of the stairs, you can start following the path on the cliffside, where you will face many enemies.
Continue along the path until you see a tower. Your next shrine, Ashen Pass III, is in the Field of Fire on your right.
