Astro Bot is a 3D Platformer game developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5 in 2024.
The game offers 80 levels distributed among five galaxies and 50 planets, where each planet is filled with its unique puzzles and levels.
Every galaxy consists of two hidden Lost Galaxy Warps that will teleport you to hidden level within the level itself.
Swirl Icon In Astro Bot Indicating Hidden Universe
One of the game’s hidden objectives challenges players to discover and explore all the lost galaxies, offering an additional layer of mystery and adventure.
How do you know if a level has Galaxy Warps hidden within them? Well, Team Asobi has made that easier for the players.
Levels that contains the hidden lost galaxy warps are marked with a “swirl” icon on the level select screen.
Even with the swirl icon as a hint, Warps are challenging to find as they’re well hidden in each level.
Five galaxies contain 10 levels with swirl icons. Unlocking all lost galaxies reveals the secret galaxy, Final Encore.
Lost Galaxy Warps In “Gorilla Nebula”
The first nebula you will visit is the Gorilla Nebula. This area introduces players to many of the basics of the game.
Here are all the hidden lost galaxies available in the “Gorilla Nebula:”
Az-Tech Trail
Once you’ve started the Az-Tech Trail level, play through it as usual until you reach a building with four lanterns mounted on the wall.
Instead of continuing normally, break the four lanterns by punching them. This action is necessary to unlock a hidden element in the level.
After destroying the lanterns, the Lost Galaxy Warp will appear. Enter it to travel to the Fan Club level, located within the Lost Galaxy.
Creamy Canyon
As you enter a large, snowy, circular arena with a tall column on one side. You will find a pig that will charge at you.
Dodge the charge attack to grab the enemy pig and throw it towards the tall column with the seal statue on top.
Bounce onto the platform and drill down to find the swirl icon portal. This will transport you to the Funky Fungi level.
Lost Galaxy Warps In “Tentacle System”
The Tentacle System is the second nebula in Astro Bot, following the opening Gorilla Nebula. The two lost galaxies can be found in the following levels:
Go-Go Archipelago
After you defeat the final boss of the level, instead of leaving, turn around and proceed to the red claw. Towards the right, you will see a dig spot.
Drilling down will take you to a portal with a swirl icon. Entering the portal will warp you to the “Light Bulb Limo” lost galaxy.
Downsize Surprise
Progress through the level as you normally would until you reach the bubble-blowing frog. Shrink yourself, then hop onto a bubble.
Ride the bubble past the caged robot to reach a high tree branch. From there, hover to the nearby branch to find the button.
Pressing the button will activate the warp that will take you to the “Boxel Bust-Up” level in the lost galaxy.
Lost Galaxy Warps In “Serpent Starway”
Serpent Starway is the third Galaxy in Astro Bot and has 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Lost Galaxy Portals to find. The two lost galaxy portals can be located in:
Bathhouse Battle
In the Bathhouse Battle level, you’ll encounter a furnace that needs to be extinguished to access a secret area.
Jump on top of the rooftop and cross it. Thereafter, climb the cherry blossom tree to reach the flaming chimney.
Use the soaked water to take out the fire. This allows Astro to enter inside the chimney where you can see a portal with the swirl icon.
Entering the portal will take Astro to the “Furnace Fever” level of the lost galaxy.
Free Big Brother
As soon as you enter the Free Big Brother level, take a right and head towards the distant stone structure in the water.
To proceed, lure the enemy into activating two platforms. Stand on the platform and quickly dodge before the enemy hits you.
This will activate the platform underneath you. Do the same thing to the corresponding platform to unlock the door.
Inside, you’ll find the Lost Galaxy Warp, which will transport you to the “Ghouls & Bots” level.
Lost Galaxy Warps In “Camo Cosmos”
Camo Cosmos is the fourth Galaxy in Astro Bot and has 40 Bots and 16 Puzzle Pieces.
Similar to previous nebulas, this also contains two lost galaxy warps. The warps are in the following levels:
Hieroglitch Pyramid
Once you enter the room with the exit gate surrounded by gems, don’t end the game.
Instead, you should follow the small pathway on the right leading to the room’s very edge.
Smash the vases here, and use your ball power to break through the floor below. This will lead you to the “Rocket Pull Power” lost galaxy.
Balloon Breeze
As soon as you grab the floating power up, turn around and return to the previous area.
In the distance, you’ll see a floating island. Bounce on the ladybug, then hover as far as you can before using the pufferfish.
On this island, chop down enough bamboo so that you can see the platform in the middle. Hovering over the platform unlocks the portal.
The portal with a swirl logo will take you to the lost galaxy level “Danger Dojo.”
Lost Galaxy Warps In “Feather Cluster”
Feather Cluster is the final zone of Astro Bot with 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxy Portals to find.
The two levels with the swirl logo in the level select menu are the following:
Djinny Of The Lamp
After you defeat the Djinny, turn around and walk up the stairs. When you break the vase, you will notice there is an invisible floor.
This floor is directly above all of the patterned blocks on the ground below. Jump from platform to platform to reach the opposite side.
Beyond the invisible floor section, you’ll find a magic carpet. Ride it to reach the gate and proceed further to the level.
Frozen Meat
Near the end of the level, before the slide to the boss, you’ll see two penguins with a single snowball between them.
Further, you should Knock the snowball down and roll up all the snow on the floor until it is enormous.
Finally, you should push the snowball up against the wall on the left. This will let you climb up to the top of the wall, where you will see the portal with the swirl icon.
