Throne And Liberty, a sequel to the first Lineage, was developed and published by NCSoft as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).
The game will be officially released worldwide on October 1st, 2024, and is currently running on a beta version. However, you can get early access to the game till it’s official release.
Just like several other games, Throne And Liberty’s developers also deployed anti-cheat software in their games to catch cheaters in the act.
Easy AntiCheat In Throne And Liberty Early Access
EAC is an anti-cheat service to prevent hacking and cheating in multiplayer PC games. It uses hybrid prevention methods to ensure a fair game.
But Throne and Liberty players who bought early access packs are having issues with EAC. While this is meant to protect the game, many are getting kicked out of their sessions without any reason.

Players are frustrated especially those who want to play the game before full release. Some players have fixed the issue by restarting their game or steam client but the solution is not consistent.
EAC is known to minimize false positives but this issue still disrupts early access gameplay and many players are looking for answers as they deal with the problem.
Shroud’s EAC Ban In Throne And Liberty
Shroud, a popular game streamer, brought the issue to light during one of his streams when he got banned while playing Throne and Liberty.
Midway through a dungeon he got kicked out by the anti-cheat and was stuck in an “anti-cheat loop”.
Other players have reported this bug too and Shroud’s experience only made the issue more noticeable. His frustration is the same as the community, highlighting the flaws of EAC on this game right now.
Ongoing Anti-Cheat Issues
EAC is meant to keep the game fair but its glitches are ruining the early access for Throne and Liberty players.
The game’s developers recently rolled out a patch to address various in-game bugs, but the EAC-related issues remain unresolved.
Devs just released a patch for other issues but the anti-cheat problem is still there. The game will be free on October 1st, hopefully, devs will fix this soon.
