In Nuclear Nightmare, World Settings allow the host of a lobby to customize various aspects of the game to tailor the experience to their preference.
Therefore, we have created a table to help players understand what these settings actually do.
Setting | Description |
Friendly Fire | With the friendly fire setting enabled, users are able to damage other players with their weapons. This setting makes sure that you do not harm your teammates. |
Enemy Daytime Spawns | The Enemy Daytime Spawns settings allow enemies to spawn during the daytime in other game modes like in the Nightmare difficulty. With this setting disabled, the enemies will not spawn between the time frame of 6am to 6pm. |
Spawn Playable Enemy After Every Death | Enabling this setting allows players to respawn into a player-controlled enemy. |
Never Spawn Playable Enemy | When this setting is enabled, it ensures that a player d probability doesn’t respawn as a playable enemy. |
Airborne Infections | With the Airborne Infections setting enabled, when an enemy locks onto your character even if you can’t see them, you could be infected with an infection. |
Disable Reinforcements | Enabling this setting prohibits respawning teammates through reinforcements. |
Disable Worm | The giant worms will not spawn during the game when the setting is enabled. |
Spawn Infection Masses | This setting has to be enabled during the research center. This setting allows the infection masses to spawn which will infect a user if they are too close to it. |
Disable Trip mines | The trip mines will not go off with this setting enabled. |
Disable Infection Notifications | With this setting enabled, the notification that a player is infected does not show up when a testing kit is used. |
Start With Radios | Everyone will have radios/ walkie talkies in their inventories with this setting enabled. |
Disable Leeches | The leeches that spawn in the snow will not spawn with this setting enabled. |
Lobby Time | This setting determines how long the lobby time will be for players to join in. The longest time is 12 minutes and the shortest is 2 minutes. |
Difficulty | There are four levels of difficulty which are easy, normal, difficult and Nightmare. The enemies will have more health and do more damage as the level increases. In the Nightmare difficulty level, enemy daytime spawn setting is turned on by default. |
Classified Minimal Difficulty | This setting dictates how many objectives a players need to complete before calling in the evac cavalry. Players need to uplink the satellite and complete the objective to be able to call the evac unit. |
Night Day Cycle Speed | There are four options to this setting which are fast, normal and long. This setting allows users to determine when nighttime will fall. |
Item Spawn probability | With three options of scarce, normal and frequent, users can control the chances of items spawning. |
Nuke Timer | The off feature which disables the setting, the nightmare gives a very short amount of time before the nuke goes off, Normal which gives the standard experience and easy give 70 minutes before the nuke goes off. |
