VIEWERS - Styles from FPVP

Postby im42n8 » Tue Aug 04, 2015 10:07 am

I haven't been working with ProShow much lately ... so these effects have taken awhile to finally see the light of day (more or less). The result however, are some nice effects that can provide some some fun and/or exciting aspects of showing off your images.

Different from past effects ... I've included text layers in some of these effects. There are 6 basic effects. Two are not specific to any image aspect, 1 uses tall image aspects (2:3 or 3:4), 3 use wide image aspects (3:2 or 4:3). Except for 2 effects, all are provided with support for one of two image aspects. In all, there are 14 different effects. One effect has 3 different versions and each has some built-in capability to vary the actual effect from its default behavior. The result is that there are over 40 variations possible!

• Tournie (Vertical) and Tournie (Horizontal) were inspired by the score graphics used on broadcasts of major tennis events. The frame rotates. As it does, it sweeps the initial image off-screen and replaces it with the next image. 2 Images each are either 3:2 or 4:3 aspect.
• Note-A-Tall. The tall image is located on the left and the caption is located to the right. The image splits down the vertical center and both panels (framed image slices) move left separately. The right-most panel consumes the existing caption. As the panels rotate back to the left, the caption for the next image exits the right-most panel. The two panels re-combine to the screen left to form the next image. 2 Images, each are either 2:3 or 3:4 aspect.
• Rounder and Squarer. Rounder sweeps out a circular section of the initial image to form a circle containing a section of the next image at screen center. Squarer moves small square sections from a square's outside corners to complete a square containing a section of the next image at screen center. In both effects, what remains of the initial image folds into the screen along the vertical at screen center. In the process, the rest of the next image is revealed. No particular image aspect is required ... the images fill the screen in each instance.
• 2By2-To-One. This effect comes in 3 versions. Each version uses 4 wide images of the same aspect. Each version supports images of 3:2 or 4:3 aspect. In each version, the images that will be displayed at full-size are shown in a 2x2 grid, framed at screen center. These images move out of the way to reveal the full-sized image within the framed region. The 2x2 grid then moves back over the displayed image and the next image is prepared for view. The next image that will display is shown in full color while the remaining images are shown in grayscale. In Version 1, the images pan off-screen the same way they panned on-screen. In Version 2, they pan off-screen the opposite of how they panned on-screen. In Version 3, the images move on-screen the same way they moved off-screen (using the tilt function). Versions 1 and 2 have more than 8 additional built-in variations of how the 2x2 grid images enter/leave the screen. Version 3 has more than 21 additional built-in variations.
