Files and folders not showing
All of a sudden I face problems with PSP not showing files and folders in list. Files and folders are available in windows file list.
Also PSP does not react when I try to Exit.
No error message is shown.
Anyone experienced this?

Re: Files and folders not showing
Could be a memory issue.
Like with any Windows programs, you need to close the program from Task Manager, and restart it.

UPDATE
After checking other threads I did a full re-install of PSP.
I checked for the two activities "player.exe" and "fvideo.exe" and found only "fvideo.exe" running, "player.exe" is not there. This is after the re-install.
Strange thing is that in the list of folders i PSP there is one folder not showing at all, but the folder is available in Windows and the files can be accessed from other applications like Photoshop CC.
This folder was visible in PSP untill a couple of days ago. I created shows from that folder successfully, but now the folder is gone out of sight when in PSP.
I am doing shows based on video files if that make sense.
Had no problem with this before.
Another sissue is that when I go File/Exit in PSP it does not exit. Just stays open without any message.
Have to close by stopping the program i Windows.
PSP is on version 9.00.3776.
My license does not allow for upgrade to latest available version so I have not tried that one.

Re: Files and folders not showing
There is no file named "player.exe" related to Photodex ProShow.
Maybe you mean pxplay.exe ?
You should find it in a separate directory named Photodex Presenter.

Re: Files and folders not showing
Ok. Got it.
I do have both the pxplay.exe and fvideo.exe.
Really strange...

Re: Files and folders not showing
I just read something about cache files.
Could this be a problem?
Is it safe and any point to delete all .pxc files to see if that makes any difference in this case??

UPDATE
Just thought I should try running PSP as administrator and suddenly things start working again. The missing folder shows and PSP Exit works ok.
Can anyone help explain this?
I'm not aware that I have ran PSP explicitly as administrator before...?

Re: Files and folders not showing
1. It is safe to delete the show cache. Sometimes it gets corrupted and may cause problems. The program will rebuild it when you next load your show. But obviously that was not the problem in your case.
2. Run as Administrator
Not sure why this is happening, but it does on some systems. On my computer it was necessary as well, both in Win 7 and in Win 10.
Here is Photodex help page that refers to this for Windows 7:
