Desaturation for Bly-Ray discs
Hello. When I last used PSP (quite some time ago), I had discovered that it would not desaturate when burning to Blu-Ray, although it would when burning to DVD. The folks at PhotoDex said a fix was in the works. Does anyone know if a fix was done? Will desaturation now work when burning to Blu-Ray? I could find out the hard way, but I hate to waste discs. Thanks.
Re: Desaturation for Bly-Ray discs
Here's an update to my own post. No one seemed to know the answer, so I wasted some discs to see if "desaturate" works for Blu-Rays. The answer appears to be yes, except that it desaturates only photos. It will not desaturate backgrounds, captions, etc. (which, I think, would seldom be a problem). I reduced saturation to 85% and saw a perceptible but minor reduction in saturation. I reduced it to 10% (just to see) and the photos burned as essentially black and white.
