Defeat Venom Daoist In The Pool Of Shattered Jade
Your first encounter with the Venom Daoist boss will be in the Pool of Shattered Jade in Webbed Hollow. You must defeat the boss here to fight him again in the second location.
Initially, you should fast-travel from the Upper Hollow Shrine towards the platform with spider sacs and head out of the cave to the firepit.
You will find an odd cocoon hanging near the meditation spot. Make sure to break that cocoon to encounter the Venom Daoist for the first time.
The boss emerges from the cocoon with six arms and a sword. The battle begins with the boss’s Sword Combo attack. To counter the attack, you can dodge or move back.
Moreover, the Daoist attacks with a sword using his various skills and strategies. Players must focus on immobilizing the boss, followed by a quick attack.
The strategic move depletes the boss’s HP in just a few moments, and the boss escapes from the location, warning the player to defeat it next with full power.
To unlock the secret area, you must defeat the boss two times. You can typically continue defeating other major and optional bosses in this chapter.
Venom Daoist Second Encounter In Court Of Illumination
The boss will leave no hint for you to trace him and will be waiting in the Court of Illumination in the Temple of Flowers.
Players can also enter the temple’s gate and climb up the stairs. After climbing a few steps, a plain land is on the left. Slide down to the plain land.
Venom Daoist boss will appear at the location once you reach it. The boss loses two arms with each defeat.
After being defeated in the previous encounter at Pool of Shattered Jade, he lost two arms and had four arms left.
To counter the boss’s attack, it’s similar to the first phase encounter. You can dodge the sword attack and immobilize its movement.
You can unlock The Purple Mountain secret area upon defeating the boss successfully. The boss will sketch on the carved walls.
You must interact with the sketch to travel to a secret area, Purple Cloud Mountain. Lastly, you can unlock other Shrines, Petalfall Hamlet, and Valley of Blooms in the area.
