Great-Nieces Wedding photos...

Postby Tarafrost » Wed Jun 04, 2008 9:15 am

I just posted a preview of some of the photos Dana and I took for my great-niece, Bethany for her wedding a few weeks ago down in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Wonderful photos, Andrzej. I've always preferred that kind of wedding photography to the sort posed in a photo studio. One picture stood out in particular because the world conjured up a breeze just for the bride, tossing her veil prettily for that unofficial first dance.

Question: Are you really sure you want to refer to your photo business as "TP"? :D

Hi there

You did a great job... as well as the lovely pictures of the bride and groom, you captured real happiness on the faces of the people attending! The finished album (and show, I hope) will be worth waiting for.

Thanks to all for the nice comments.

As to where I've been....working (healthcare technology startup company), riding (motocross with my nephew) and finally trying to help out the Bear Creek Sanctuary (rebuilt their ATV and spent some time building a new wolf enclosure for the 4 puppies who have outgrown the small enclosure). Also been playing with a new blu-ray HD setup and a 120gb Sony HD camcorder. Too busy to do much with PSP, and that's unlikely to change any time soon.

So don't hold your breath for a wedding slideshow...not gonna happen any time soon. ;-(

Funny....never received any notices of replies to this thread, which is why it took a while to respond.

Could you take some time out to post pictures of the wolf pups? Surely you've taken at least a few snapshots. I have a real soft place in my heart for wolves. Of course, I could go right now to the sanctuary's Web site to see what's there, but if you already know there's nothing and you can quickly post a few pics, I'd love seeing them.

Barbara

EDIT: Never mind! I found a huge collection of puppy pics. They look no different from dog pups, and yet they'll always be wild at heart. One brown parent and one black?

It's Dana (my wife) that maintains the BCEWS web site, so I rarely know what new pics have been posted. I do know that she posts new stuff very frequently though. I supposed I should find some time to create an RSS feed for the sanctuary site some day.

Raven is the father (black, but he's got a lot of silver/grey in him) and Luna is the mother (more white/cream/grey than anything else). If the pups look brown, it's probably from rolling in the mud! ;-)

They are moving to the new (huge) enclosure today or tomorrow. Dana (and I if I can make it) will be photographing and videoing the move, so look for some coverage of the pups in their new home next week on the site.

I will.

Two puppies moved to their new enclosure yesterday....the other two will move in today.

According to Dana, they were all excited...running around like kids exploring their new home. Photos to come soon.
