Sheldon,

Having lived in Kansas most of my life, I am quite familiar with tornados. In fact I have driven past the house depicted in the last photograph many times. Awewome in their appearance and terrifying in their consequences.

Best,
Don

This is one of the few reasons that life in the Northeast is good. We can get some pretty bad weather, but never anything like this. We get an occasional earthquake, but if we're asleep, we don't even notice it.

Those are really spectacular photographs.

With all the odd weather we've been getting lately, it wouldn't surprise me if we DID, one day, see weather like this in the UK. We're in the middle of April and yet we've had snow and hailstones the size of marbles this week, instead of dafodils and spring lambs.

Fantastic photos

I have sunshine and crocuses and robins and squirrels and chipmunks and rabbits and it's 70 degrees and the only thing I managed to get done today was take a lot of little walks around the yard. Spring messes with the brain.

Besides blowing my knee out on Saturday I spent the whole day on the boat and it was a gorgeous 71 degrees, blue, calm water day! My oregano is in full production, chives are coming up, california lilac sprouting and then they call for snow this weekend! I can hang on the deck right now with only a light jacket as it is 6 at night. go figure the global warming world we live in now........
