Terminally Cute...the latest Bear Creek Baby!

Postby Tarafrost » Mon Feb 19, 2007 5:03 pm

My wife just took this shot today. About 1 week old. No name yet.

She's being fostered by Bear Creek Sanctuary on behalf of another facility. Mary at BCEWS has a real way with the babies, which are much more fragile than you would think for the first few months, and so many other facilities have her foster their tiger babies.

Isn't she just terminally cute?

Thought some of you might enjoy the shot.

Reminds me of a National Geographic show some years back
on a pair of polar bear cubs (Snow and ? ). They were so
cute -- sat there sucking on the bottle -- what little darlings ... until
they took the bottle away then they resembled the tasmainian devil
from Bugs Bunny !! Talk about bad tempered !!

And look how we've progressed....now the polar bear cubs drink Coke? Ugh!

Some days I look at the world we live in and just shake my head.

Those bears were Klonike and Snow! They were born at the Denver Zoo, and Denver couldn't get enough of those cubs! I had the pleasure seeing them at the zoo before they were tranfered to a Florida zoo. They were so cute and playful. It was interesting to watch them grow.
