Fear of flying and modifiers
Modifiers are a godsend, but they sure do look evil at first. Here's a beginner's article to get you up and flapping: The 'Sine' Bird.

Re: Fear of flying and modifiers
Thanks Barbara. I'm out of town and away from my computer that has ProShow installed, but this looks like a great little introduction to modifiers. I'll be sure to try it when I get back.
Thanks again!

I thought modifiers were supposed to be dificult to the nth degree. That doesn't look so hard

All the basic moves are really simple, but you sure wouldn't know it by reading about modifiers in the manual. The instructions for stuff I already know how to do got me all flubberdegibbetted, so I thought, "Oh come on, Photodex. This is NOT rocket science."

Re: Fear of flying and modifiers
Barbara, I always put the modifiers aside - something I'd learn when I had a lot of time. Thanks for your tutorial, it was very easy to follow and opened my eyes to many possible uses.

I did exactly the same thing until I was one day using heavy-duty music software that employs the exact same waveforms. It popped into my head that waveforms were a kind of path, and when this analogy smacked me in the middle of the forehead, it seeped right over into Producer. Ta-dah! I played madly enough with modifiers to crash Producer, and I'm here to recommend that everyone endeavor to give Producer nervous breakdowns. Fear not. It can always be revived.
