Spring 2010 Challenge

Postby HunnyB » Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:23 pm

THIS IS OUR NEW SPRING CHALLENGE -----

A 30 second to a minute long "commercial like" or just a short 3-4 minute show about your home town or state. Or country for some.

You can have videos included. Whatever you like. Just keep it short and think of it being on the telly.

If everyone agrees, it could end around June 1st.

Hi
I never entered a challege B4 but I'm up to doing one now. I vote on the Home Town Commercial - 1 minute long or 2 - Everyone could probably find the time as it really wouldn't be that exhausting. This would give everyone a little insight to some areas that they never been exposed to.
Are there any rules in a challenge?

I vote for the business promo.
What happens in a challenge? Do we do the politically correct thing where everyone gets a trophy?

Looks like I am just going to have to decide on this one....may be a two way tie.

I think we just do the shows. They really are fun to watch.

Let me find out what everyone else's input is in the next few days.
Then I will edit my original post here to tell everyone what the challenge is. :D

I probably won't have the time to do this one, but far be it from me to not state an opinion.:D I think the idea of promoting a business, be it real or imagined, gives people a lot more leeway than a commercial about one's location. Or maybe that's just me having lived too long in one place.

Although I would not be able to view challenger's posting via Presenter only, I like the business challenge idea but either would be interesting. :D

Some work has been dropped in my lap today. 3 new jobs - all due around the same time.
SO, looks like I may not be able to do my own challenge .

I will let someone else decide if a challenge is a good idea right now.

SORRY

Hunny,

do NOT BE SORRY for getting a new JOB ! :(
... and 3 of them - on top of each other !! :)

It is WE - who should be sorry, we are not getting enough (or at all) some jobs ...

Congratulation ! :D

Alexandra

P.S.
By my opinion - "Promo to a Business" - even a "make-believe" - would be best ...

I like the idea of getting together pictures of your town, might be interesting to see.

I have been thinking ---and that is dangerous.
A lot of us have a business promo already...
so I think a "commercial" about our home towns or state, or even country,
would be interesting to see.

So, this is what I am going to post for the challenge.

Notice the edit I did about the challenge.
I was thinking last night that if anyone wants to - it could just be a short 3-4 minute show about where you live.

I love the hometown theme....I think it would be neat to see where people hail from. Look how excited people got just from your office show Hunny!!

Nice idea..thanks,
