Where can one get backgroud music without having to buy an album?

You are peeking under the lid of "Pandora's Box". Take a look
in the misc. section of the forum under "Music discussions" - there
are a whole bunch of variables including how you are going to use
it (personal only or group or ... ). As well as all sorts of different
licensing issues. One guy (don' t remember his name right off
hand) gives permission to use his music ONLY if you are willing to
put credit to him at the end of the show if I remember correctly.
If you won't do that, you can't use it (that's the way he puts it).
There are a number of free sites out there.
