new user in proshow gold?

Postby maryalfredo » Fri May 20, 2016 12:20 am

Hello, sorry for my bad english.
I've often used proshow producer at a friend's House. Use which I have give is the normal make mounts with pieces of video in avchd and mainly photos with effects and transitions, and finally save a iso image of bluray in the pc and copy in a hdd and play it with a media player device that play iso images of bluray. My question is, if I buy proshow gold for my home which is what I'm going to Miss of proshow producer

Hello

You can see it on Photodex website but mainly
no
  • masks
  • keyframes (except beginning and end)
  • chroma key
  • different zoom X and Y
  • modifiers
  • possibility to create your transitions

less output formats

Then some effects in Producer may be not possible in Gold.

Hi

55 formats in Producer and 50 in Gold.

MPeg4 for example is not in Gold...

The two big ones I would miss would be mp4 and keyframes. There are ways to work around some of the missing keyframe issues - for example, if you want a slide that starts at one zoom level for several seconds, zooms to another ratio then holds for several seconds, in Producer, you do it with multiple keyframes. In Gold, you can do the same thing with 3 slides - one at the beginning level, one that zooms in/out and one at the final level.

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

i dont understand you, i am working with a evaluation copy of proshow gold and i can use mp4 files. I have a panasonic lumix tz40 camera that make video in avchd (mts) and mp4 when you use the slow motion way. I try to insert this last files in psg and i have no problems for it.

You can use it in slides but not produce (output) a mp4 video.

I miss also masks when using Gold : video transparency, zoom or other animation on an image smaller than then screen.

I agree with you about keyframes :) .
