flower effects question

Postby Lenora » Tue May 03, 2016 2:45 pm

on the sample for the free flower effects there is a slide that "flips" from the beginning slide to an ending one. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

This is the ProShow Gold section of the forum, so my answer refers to this program, and not to Producer.

I don't know to what flower effect you are referring exactly, but I'm guessing that flipping might have been created with Tilt values.

If you have a value of 0 (zero) Horizontal Tilt (or Vertical Tilt) in your Starting Position, and a value of 180 in your Ending Position, your picture will flip once.
If you change the Ending Position to 360, then your picture will flip twice.

Is this what you have in mind?

OK, I think that you are referring to transitions.
What I saw was that the transitions named Flash Cards Cascade were used several times in that demo.
These transitions are found in the category Motion 3D.

Is the Flash card transitions in PSG? I have an older version of PSG and I can't see it

Yes, it is a transition that can be applied in Gold.
But, I can't be sure, because I also have Producer installed on my computer.
How old is your version? That transition is not so new.
You can view the number of your version if you go to Help > About ProShow.
Transitions started in ver. 4.5, I think.

I d/o trial psg7 and it has that transition. I have version 4 and it really does what I want and don't use PSG oftenbut like some of the new transitions. There wasn't anythiing too new on 7 so I guess I will keep what I have.

Yes, of course, it's your decision.
That transition is also based on Tilt Effects, so, any version below 5 will not display it.
Ver. 4 had very few transitions compared to what is available now.
