Joining Different Parts of Music Into One Line of Music

Postby apenan » Wed May 27, 2015 1:06 am

hello.....
I just wonder how to join a certain section of a piece of music, may be 5, 10 or even 50
times so that it will come out into one single line of music? So when we play this line
of combined music, it is as if it is one single piece of music.
Do we need special soft ware to do this?
I appreciate the gurus out there to help me in this.
THANKS.

I don't use Gold, but I assume it has the same capabilities in music that Producer has. As I understand it, what you're looking for is akin to an automatic replay where it sounds as if it's looping back to the beginning of the song. You should be able to place the same piece of music into the soundtrack area multiple times, fading the end of one and the beginning of the next just slightly to give a natural feel to it. If you're looking to join just one section of the music to another section of music, I imagine it could be done using offsets, but if that's what you want to do, I advise using perhaps the free Audacity to edit the music itself because you'll probably go crazy trying to work with Proshow's relatively crude music-editing tools. To do the job right, it's best to go to software that was built to do the job.

Thanks Barbara for recommending me to use Audacity to do the job I wanted.
After getting the free Audacity soft ware, I took about 3 hours to tweak
the soft ware and managed to do it. The result was seamless and excellent.
Thanks again, Barbara. CHEERS!!!

Hi, apenan,
also you could use "SonicFire" free software - where you could join several "Wav" files together.

(I'm using "Pro" version for several years).
