inserting captions

Postby proullard » Fri May 22, 2015 7:33 pm

I have captions I want to place in my show. The difficult part is that the captions are in Mongolian and they are in a word document. Is there a way to import those captions
in to Pro Show Producer?

ProShow works ONLY with fonts that are installed in Windows, on your computer.
If you don't have that special font installed, you will not be able to use it.
MS Word cannot help you.

Try to find a way to make a graphic file out of that caption - with or without background - and insert it in Producer as an image.

Thanks Cherub. I figured as much about the fonts and importing the captions into Producer. I can probably have my wife convert them in to a graphic file through Photoshop or Illustrator then import them in to Producer.

Hello

As far as I know, even if special fonts are installed in Windows, Proshow cannot use characters not belonging to the ASCII Table.

For exemple only those characters can be used from the ARIAL unicode MS font and no one of the cyrillic, chinese or ... Proshow do not use UNICODE (I do not know if version 7 change that)

But some fonts coding foreign characters from 0 to 255 exist (there is one for janapese for examlple). It's like the dingbats fonts : you can use them is Proshow.
