Re: How to add time to slide without changing keyframes?
Remember where adding time to the last keyframe could actually add time to the LEFT of the keyframe? Weren't you the one to report that little beaut? One of those quirks we don't have to worry about anymore (thank you thank you thank you) ... now, we just have to figure out how to do the rest of it.
Intuitive? Nah ...

It still can add time to the left of the keyframe, but you can't have a transition following it. And yes, I did sort of report this, though if I'm remembering correctly, it was more of a controlled rant. I mean, really? If we wanted to extend the transition, we'd click the transition time and change it, for crying out loud! (Oops. Almost went into a repeat of the rant. )

Holy toledo! IT DOES ADD TO THE LEFT when there's no transition region! I thought they had fixed that. That's ridiculous! I wonder what they're reasoning for this is ... time's supposed to be added or removed only from the right of the keyframe! This is NOT the case here. Tsk . . .
Ah well ... another vagary of the program...

Re: How to add time to slide without changing keyframes?
This entire thread made me go back to take a good look at the process of adding/removing time between keyframes. While I was doing this, I made notes with a view to creating some very simple rules, which are now on the ProShowThink blog: Add or Remove Time Between Keyframes
Dale goes into the subject with a bit more depth: Keyframes: Add/Remove Time
