polish language problem

Postby Ninanoki » Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:08 pm

i've been using proshow 5 for a long time on windows 7 and everything was fine. right now i'm using 6.0.3397 on windows 8.1 polish version and polish language installed. i can write in polish language in all applications except proshow producer. same problem was with version 5. so maybe there is some problem with my windows? i've read all posts on forum but can't find any working solution. is it a proshow bug? when it will be resolved? or what am i doing wrong? even when i paste text it is changing into symbols. i'm using default open type fonts.

Since this is primarily an English speaking forum, you may have better results going through Photodex's website support to ask them for the answer to this particular question. The Enthusiast forum is not owned by Photodex. Member content is supplied by everyday users like you and me when we have the time to respond.

You're welcome.... :)

Although Proshow is supposed to be able to use OTF, try True Type Font and see if that makes any difference.

Once again I am an English language user, so just guessing and looking for a possible work around.

Brian you may be on to something. Though the newest version is supposed to support OTF font format, I vaguely remember users commenting about having some trouble with them.
