Qualifying for Update link page?

I received email info for V6. The link to info for qualifications doesn't link to the kb address.
I cannot find a line of information as to what the term 'update' has as a full meaning.

I purchased V5 January 2013.
Is this a qualifying position to use the upgrade price for V6?

I answered my own question with a work around.
I clicked on BUY and if there is a previous Proshow registration number then the upgrade status is acceptable.

There is 'update' and 'upgrade'....
Perhaps its update within a version (no charge) and UPGRADE to a new version (reduced price)

I assume that the UPGRADE refers to any previous registration number rather than within the calendar year.

Hi Rose,
You are complicating things a bit too much.

You can upgrade from Producer 5 to 6, FOR FREE, within one year of your last purchase.
So, until January 2014, the exact date that you purchased ver. 5, you get it for free
If until that date, Photodex also release any updates for Producer 6 (for eventual bug fixes), you are also entitled to them for free.

After that date, you are no longer entitled to any free update or upgrade

So, go ahead and get ProShow 6 - for free.
