Audio and Video not Sycing after rendering

Postby TABGeek » Wed Oct 31, 2012 3:57 pm

I can't seem to get a good result with audio/video sync. The preview show looks perfect but after the rendering process the audio no longer matches up to the video. Big issue when working on lip-syncing parody videos.

Running brand new i7, 32GB RAM, SSD HD, Windows 7 Pro 64bit NVIDIA video card.

There's a known issue with some versions of the ProShow version 5 software that, if I remember correctly, can have symptoms like that. The issue has been reported as fixed in later updates--you didn't mention which version of the software you have but assuming that's it, you might want to try to get the very latest update. If the issue I'm remembering is what is affecting you, you can also try turning off the GPU acceleration which triggers it.

Failing any of that, contact PhotoDex Tech Supt -- they're normally very helpful.

The issue Dick mentions only showed up during previewing, not in the final render, so his suggestion of contacting Photodex is a good one.

Okay, so much for trusting my memory -- no surprise there

Thanks for the clarification Barbara.
