Multiple Shows / Multiple Displays from 1 computer

I would like to run multiple shows on multiple displays from a single PC at a trade show all set to loop. Currently, I find that the best way to make it work is via EXE but the second and third show is likely to cause the PC to stutter. The first show is smooth, the second introduces a tiny bit of stutter, and the third show really makes stutter evident in the Ken Burns Effects. I haven't been brave enough to add the 4th screen and see if it will work.

Using PSG 4.1 and showing photos with extensive pans and zooms. Otherwise there is nothing fancy about what I am doing.

Is there a secret to making this work? Is there a recommended computer config for this?

Hardware being used is a 3 ghz dual core AMD processor with ATI graphics 4200 for 2 displays and 4350 for displays 3 and 4. Running XP with 4 gig of RAM.

I doesn't appear to help to have high end graphics cards. (Does the proshow EXE engine even use the GPU?)
