Cook up quick Web site
The most recent edition of Imaging Resource's newsletter contained a short description of free software to build a quick photography Web site. I just checked it out and it looks great as a way for getting started: http://www.cerebrosoft.com/

Thanks for the tip Barbara. I've been meaning to get my photography website going. I will check this out!

Sheldon, it's definitely a nice, quick way of doing it, but there's something I've noticed about you and it's that you like to get your mental hands dirty. You'll quickly want all kinds of control, and you'll end up with something like MS FrontPage.

Another free software that I highly recommend is JAlbum for creating online web galleries. There are a lot of really nice skins (templates) to choose from to cover just about every style you can think of. It's all very easy to use with the interface provided. For those that like to get their hands dirty and do some tinkering, the skins can all be modified to better suit your style and needs. It's a great way to get a photo gallery up and running and customize it as well. I use it for my photo gallery and love it.

I'd forgotten about JAlbum. You're right, Mike. It's a great piece of software. Greater still because it's free.
