Barbara - You'd be suprised by how many people have no clue what the little hole is for or even that there is a hole. From what I read, the Mac does not have this.

Rick, check to see if you have that little hole in the drive drawer.

EDIT: Got the lowdown from my friend who just bought a Mac. It would seem that CD's & DVD's go into a slot, not into a sliding drawer. Now I understand why a person might have to call in the tech army to extract a stuck disk.
