Thank you for posting the link. I'm freshly back from it, having downloaded DrawPlus4 and a program I used to have and forgot about: Terragen. If anyone else decides to download Terragen, be warned. It's addictive.

Hi Barbara

If you like Drawplus 4 you can update to Drawplus 6 for just $9.99 at:

a great program which served me well until I took the plunge and went for Photoshop.

Ted, I haven't installed DrawPlus yet, and now I'm wondering if I should bother. I use Photoshop CS3. Would DrawPlus prove useless to me?

Barbara - No point at all in installing Drawplus if you're using CS3. It's a good program - specially as a "freebie" but it's rather like comparing a Ford to a Rolls Royce - or perhaps I should say a Cadillac.

Then out the door it goes. But this reminds me that I haven't installed Terragen yet. It creates the most incredible landscapes which might be interesting additions to slide shows. If you've never tried it, take a look at it. Here's the link: http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/

I should perhaps also have said that DrawPlus is more akin to Illustrator but the drawing tools in Photoshop itself have become so versatile that, apart from really complex drawing, many of the things you are likely to do in Drawplus can probably also be achieved in CS3.

OK Barbara - I've downloaded Teerragen but as it doesn't appear to run on Vista will have to wait until I'm on my XP machine to try it. I'll blame you if I get into trouble for spending even more time on the computer :)

Don't forget free will, Ted! I mentioned it but you downloaded it.
