SCROLLING CREDITS WITH PICTURES

Postby alice ware » Sun Aug 26, 2007 6:00 am

I SAW ONE OF THE SHOWS WHERE THE CREDITS SCROLLED
WITH PICTURES BESIDE THEM. CAN'T FIND THAT SHOW AGAIN,
BUT I AM WONDERING HOW TO MAKE THE PICTURES SCROLL
BESIDE THE NAME. HAVE THE PICTURES BUT THEY AREN'T
SCROLLING BESIDE THE NAME. IS THERE SOMEWAY
TO LOCK THE LAYERS?

Welcome to the funhouse !!

I'm not sure which show you are referring to, but there
are several ways to do what you are asking:

1) Have the text and picture as part of a larger "picture"
you have created in your photo editor. then you can move
the "picture" and everything moves together (use keyframes
if you have producer and you can make it do all sorts of stuff).

2) using keyframes, you could match the motion of the
picture with the scrolling text.

There are a number of options, without seeing the one in
question, that is my best guess.

PS: TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS THE INTERNET EQUIV. OF SHOUTING!! :D

Welcome Alice

However if you mean the picture being stationary, and the text scrolling beside it. The way to do this is with a picture layer and a text layer .png file produced in another program. With two layers you should find it easy.

I think Dave Fitzpatrick, had something like that.
