Not PSP related but need help please

Hi I know this is not PSP related but I am hoping that someone on here can help me with a problem I have. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 2 days ago. The plan had been for me to be able to use it in conjunction with my TV. I bought something called a Chromecast to do this. I can get video etc on the TV but everything is so badly distorted and fragmenting that I am unable to watch this way. Does anyone know if there is some Free software I can get to help with this problem or anything else that can help me I would be really grateful. You are the only ones I know I can ask. I have tried going on line to find help but find nothing out there. Many thanks.

I'm not familiar with what you have, but your comment about the video "fragmenting" is usually an indication of insufficient data rate for digital data (image). How are you trying to get the data from your source (and what is the source?) to the destination (the Samsung Tab?).

I have a Chromecast device but only use it via desktop to tv thru wifi as I've never been able to get it to work adequately with my Android phone.
I don't use it all that often but it's nice to have as an additional option to watch other things that are broadcast via computer browser tab. We stream most stuff with a Roku 3 box which works well.

You might try to find a Chromecast forum to get better answers but I've never looked for one.

I don't know what specific tablet version device you have but it also may have something to do with the OS version the device is using. I read something about 4.4.2+ is required. Older devices sometimes are limited to older OS versions. Just guessing though....

OK thanks for your reply's I will check the links out and I will try the Chromecast Forum. I am using a Samsung Tablet Tab4 Below are the Specs for it. However today I shall spend some time checking out the links and then maybe even phoning the Samsung people.
