Social media sites remove user copyright info from images
Ran across an interesting article while looking for something else. "While Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr remove embedded information like copyright notes, the name of the creator, the description and more, the results show that other social networks like Google+ or Tumblr protect photographers’ data better." was the statement that caught my eye. So you think that image you posted on FB still has your copyright info in it ? Maybe not. Worth a read (fairly short article).

Re: Social media sites remove user copyright info from images
This should put some people on very high alert. I have a good friend who's a photographer and who may have no idea that his copyright (most important part) may have been destroyed.
