I've seen this (or one like it) before, but still an amazing show of the earth at night from the space station using time lapse -- check it out for an impressive show (and music) ... http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap130331.html

The moment it began, I knew there was nothing for it but to send it up to 1080p and full screen. By chance, my special studio monitor speakers were on, and so I sat back mesmerized by sight and sound.
