I too am deeply saddened and sorry to here this. His encouragement and advise directly and indirectly helped me grow in this craft and will be surely missed but is a part of every show I create. His cancer journey provided inspiration and courage. Though I never met him, I regarded him as a true friend and trusted confidant and feel lucky and blessed to have met him through this forum. My condolences to his family and friends.

I am so so sorry about Bart. His "Celebration of Life" show might be comforting to many of us at this time. Be sure to watch it to the very end.

This is the second time watching that video. The first time gave me incredible respect for Bart mixed with such sadness. This time, I felt those same emotions, but also something more that has to do with watching a legacy he's left behind for all of us.

I had not seen his celebration video before (although I had seen some of the images). Thanks for pointing it out - definitely worth a watch if you knew Bart. I'd like to think that perhaps he and Peter Frampton were up there comparing notes.

Take a look at the upper right corner of the forum banner. What a nice way Mike G found to memorialize our dear friend Bart! :)

I missed that, I don't tend to look at the banner

That was a nice tribute, Mike.

My thought and prayers go out to his family and friends.
I always highly valued any critique made by Bart. On the occasions he said I had done a good job I was very happy. More often he told me where and how to improve my shows. We will all miss his honest appraisals and helpful advice.

I did not know Bart struggled with cancer. I did know he was kind enough to watch my shows and make comments. I am very sorry he has died. On YouTube, I just watched his show A Celebration of Life.
