74 this year, and to think next year will see me 3/4 of a century :evil:

Best thing today, I now have a 2TB USB3 backup drive. I know how to drop hints ... buy it yourself and then say this is what you are giving me for my birthday :P

Also going to take out a subscription to Ancestry.com, must get back to the family tree this winter.

Yes, it can bring out the wierd and wonderful. I've only looked at direct ancestors so far, now I need to spread into their families. Already have a suicide, but he was in his 80's.

While digging into my own ancestry, I discovered a number of family tales that proved stories are often more interesting than the truth, which led to the conclusion that I come from a long line of fabricators.
