photobook software
Can anyone suggest a good photo book software program. Have tried to use Blurb's Booksmart 3.3.1 and it will down load but not open. Have emailed their support. Just thought maybe there is another reliable product out there.
Thank you for any help. Jaco

Re: photobook software
Hi Jaco
I started a project using Photobook Designer a few months ago. I found it easy to use but have not had anything printed yet.
I have seen one of their books and was impressed with the quality of print and paper. It was extremely good.

Re: photobook software
Jaco,
I used "MyPublisher" couple years ago (now - they are even better...)
Here is the link: http://www.mypublisher.com/
(Also: program for creating of the book is free to download.)
I (and friends I've created book for) were very impressed with quality of paper, print & overall look.
"MyPublisher" have many templates you could load your photos into, also it was possible to load "JPG" of whole page of your own design, if their look was not what person wanted.
Book is now several years old, still looks great, prints or binding is not degrading.
Also - from time to time, they have a sale - like now .....

Re: photobook software
These days, I'm using 'My Publisher' with a community group who are compiling Family Heritage books... the software is FREE and very easy to use. There's a good range of templates, but if they are not exactly what you're looking for then you can very easily import a full page image elsewhere.
Costco UK are currently offering a 20% discount for their members re 'My Publisher' photobooks. The quality looks excellent from what I have seen so far.

Ditto on the suggestions for My Publisher - beautiful books! If you get on their emailing list, they frequently send out discount offers - definitely try to take advantage of one - well worth it.

I have used Mixbook; it was simple and worked well for my purpose at the time.
