FPVP Exchange System Styles, Set 2

Postby im42n8 » Tue Jan 04, 2011 10:17 am

I've been working on these off and on since October. These styles are complex (but easy to use) because the effect that needs to work with many different frame shapes -- say a wide portrait frame instead of a narrow circle or a thin square instead of an wide oval.

In general, each of these styles works with frame shapes of landscape, circle, square, oval, and portrait in any of their frame depths (from wide to narrow). So, apply the style and then replace the existing frame and/or any masks as desired. In some cases some simple settings are needed to adjust the style to the frame shape being used (that is, changing a layer value from 0 to 1). They work in both HD (High Definition/Widescreen/16:9) aspect or SD (Standard Definition/TV/4:3) aspect.

The basic idea used in these Exchange System styles is not exactly new, its implementation is. The result of being able to change the frame(s) and mask(s) in the same style is similar to having multiple styles in a single style. That’s because while the effect may be the same, the look and feel of that effect can be considerably different after changing frames. So, considerable time was spent in the development of these styles.

FPVP has partnered with The Frame Locker to provide a simple way making the most of these styles. The result is styles and frames that may be simple or complicated but which are sophisticated, and make an existing style’s look and feel vary significantly.

It is like having many styles in a single style!

Simply replacing an existing Exchange frame with another can have a profound effect upon the look and feel on the slide. In some cases, after making the changes, the result will appear as if it was a completely different effect. Creating a new look and feel is easy. Simply replace the existing frame(s) and associated mask(s) with a different ones. Maybe a few simple settings changes.

The level of sophistication, ease of use, and complexity offered by the Exchange Styles is unparalleled with any other ProShow Producer styles available today. The flexibility offered by these styles to create their significant look and feel differences is also unprecedented.
