DJ Swipes

Postby HunnyB » Fri Nov 16, 2007 12:01 pm

I just got my first order of DJ "Swipes".
I can't for the life of me get them to work.
They seem to be just like a jump back file.
Is there something I should know about a swipes file?

You will need to go into Juicer and cut it into two files. One will have the effect, the other will be the Alpha Mask. This is why we're asking for PS to support Alpha Masks! Drop the swipe in the Batch Panel. Click Settings. Under the Output option, check the box that says Render Alpha Separately. This will then create the two files that you'll put in a slide. Use the Alpha version output as a Mask with the other file as the Maskee. Now the swipe will come over your slide and allow the slide itself to show through. That should get you going.
