Caption Styles - Make available for new shows ?

The function of making the caption style available to new shows is not working for me.
I tried this function in all versions of Producer 3 available to date, and I could never make it happen.
I am now with version 3.1 and it's still not available. I put a V in "Saving" Make this style available......
and when I get back to the style the V mark is gone.
I think that I saw somewhere that this was fixed, but for me it's still not there.
I even tried to put the shows in a Project, to see if it matters, but it doesn't.
Anybody else experienced this, or is it just me?
