Audio problem when video is included in show

Postby gkotoyan » Wed Aug 29, 2007 1:21 pm

Does anybody have an audio problem when video files are included to show?
This is what’s happening: background song or any other soundtrack looses volume – about 20% of original loudness - as soon as reaches slide that contains video file (I use mostly avi).
Doesn't matter if video file has its own sound or not.
Then on the next regular slide (with image only) volume is restoring again.
I am running latest version of Producer, but noticed this issue in previous versions also.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

In 'Slide Options' > 'Sounds', check the volume settings are not being reduced when a 'slide' has its own sound.

Hi gkotoyan

If you double click on the music track below the slides you should be able to see an option regarding the volume you want the tracks to play when there are 'other' sounds in the show. I'm sure it can be set to 100 percent if need be, or lower as necessary. Sorry I can't be more specific as I don't have Producer at my fingertips right now.
