Create DVD disc ......freezing
Hi,
Now, I have downloaded both version ProShow Producer 3 1935 and 1942. There seems to be problems with both.
I have now installed and uninstalled v 1935 a few times, but I still have problems. When I have made a presentation with just a few pictures I save it. Then when I open the create DVD dicv menu, everythings ok.
Then when I want to change the background on the top of the Create DVD disc menu, the whole software freezes. As well as the everything else. I end up having to reboot. I have uninstalled and remove all files related to Photodex.
Aso I have installed with my antivirus software disabled. In other words tried different ways to solve the issue.
Please help tell me me what to do. Thanks!
Magnus

If you have owned Gold for 2 or more years, then you can get 50% off
on the upgrade to Producer -- see their "Loyalty" page where they reward
their "Loyal" customers (unless they already managed to get your money
when 3 first came out, in which case, "too bad, so sad" ).

Thanks Mike
Thanks for the info.
Do you have any idea why the software freezes?
Thanks,
Magnus

Not off hand with the menu -- there have been a number of people having problems with
freezing during rendering etc that, in many cases, were found to be a corrupted file
(image or sound) and when the offending file was removed all went well. I don't
remember seeing people complain of your issue. You might try experimenting with
different backgrounds etc and see if perhaps the one you are selecting has a problem.
Other than that, since I have not seen that issue and don't remember hearing of
others having the problem, I'm afraid I don't have a lot of suggestions other than
good troubleshooting which starts with trying to come up with the smallest set of
objects/conditions that will repeatedly cause your problem then work from there
(including contacting support at photodex).
