Sound going up and down in my show.

I've been using producer for yrs, I do slideshows for a funeral home, which the family plays during the calling hrs. And it's usually around 50 slides with two songs. So every year we do a end-of-the-year remembrance program, where I use over 100 slides and five to six songs. And for some strange reason my songs go in and out and volume. Now when I'm in the show options and I preview the songs,they play just fine. And the volume is even. I'm using producer version 5.0.3297. any suggestions?

This seems like a bad encoding of the music files. This often happens wit mp3 files which do not respect the Mpeg pure format.

Try this :
1- import each music file in Audacity software (free)
2- without doing any change resave them in the same format but with a new name

This will render a perfect mp3 format encoding.

Jean I tried that and it didn't work. I also just realized something. the music is only getting low when it's going over the transition, then plays normal when it's going over the slide. But this never happens and none of my normal slideshows. Very strange!

Does it happen with all the transitions in your show, or just the one?
If so, what is different in that transitions compared to all the others?
Does it contain video?

Try this:
Show > Soundtrack > Soundtrack During Other Sounds
Instead of the difault 50% , change to 100%.

Glad that it helped.
Was that transition really based on video, as I presumed?
If so, that video should not contain any sound. If it does, it should be corrected.
Normally, you shouldn't have this problem.
