Caption - macros

I'm using the macro \[iptc Keywords] on its own in a global caption in a show.

Since the number of keywords is variable, choosing a font size is very difficult. If I choose a decent size of say 18pt (my prime audience for this show is two 93 year olds!) then the caption is fine for many/most of the slides, but extends off the screen in a significant number of cases.

If I choose a font that makes the some of the longest captions fit, then 100% of the captions are too small to read.

I suspect that there is no work-around to this, but if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
