Video Volume

Postby auburnfan » Tue Oct 01, 2013 1:54 pm

While doing a slideshow with video inserted in pictures...some of the videos are very hard to hear. How do I make them louder? I have the video volume up 100%. Help! All the videos are different bc multiple people sent videos wishing the couple good luck - so it's from a variety of phones, cameras, etc. What to do???

Do you have any way to extract the audio from the videos? That might be your best bet. Then, you can run them through Audacity or some other audio editing program and make them all about the same. You can't go more than 100% of the original volume level if the audio is part of the video; You can go at least 200% if it's not (not including any processing of the audio you may have done after you extract it from the original video).

Just include the extracted audio as a slide sound and adjust the offset to the left by however much the length of the transition located to the left of the slide.
