PSP forgets caption texture settings

Ive got a show with the same font used throughout, and the font has a texture setting ( use texture on caption, image)
i then use the copy function to copy the caption settings to all captions in the show, and all appears to work.
then i save the show, and where needed burn it to DVD RW to review it on a DVD player.
When i come to re-open the show all the captions are missing the texture settings and have gone to either white, or black - proshow forgets the settings that have been saved.
