Audio problem

Since updating to 4.5.2949 it seems that any MP3 format I add to a show, the right speaker shows in the pink (not red) -- I have to convert it to a WAV file and bring it back in the show.

Also, how do I adjust the sound in video clips I bring in, they too are muffled and I think it must be happening to them, too.

HELP- PLEASE!
