Update Proshow
Okay I have not been here in forever, but always checking in. I have a project for upcoming wedding and so wanted the latest version. Not sur eif this is the right spot to post but what the heck. I went to check updates. and found there is one. Went to site DL it. No it says I am using trial version??? I had the paid version now this. I emailed them but wonder if my answer is simply that my version is to old for free upgrades and if so I have to buy the new one. But couldn't I just keep using the old. I am guessing a revert to old one via restore point on my pc? Any help aprecitaed

Yea that happened to me with GOLD awhile back. I downloaded a newer version only to find out that I had expired a couple days before so the update considered me a trial user. I had to roll back to the previous version which I had saved along with the registration key code which will not work with downloads past the 1 year expiration date.
That reminds me, the 1 year date is coming up fast for us poor saps that purchased Producer back when we thought we were getting a great deal....Haaa!

See when your year was up -- I have some of the older versions archived and
many of them are also on the Photodex site if you know how to get them.

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

Well, if you ordered the download version, you should have a copy of the email
with your serial numbers. If you bought the boxed version, you might have to
do some snooping for a receipt (or contact Photodex). You could not have got
it before December 2006 ? Somewhere right in there was when it came out (you
remember those of us that bought into the "hurry hurry buy before the price goes
up then the bottom fell out in January?).

Wow, I just looked at my purchase date for Producer.....September 13th, 2006!!!! My one year of "free updates" will end after tomorrow. Looks like version 3.1992 will be the last update for me. The year sure went by quickly even though it still took a whole year to go by

Mine was out of date and they kindly sent me info to get back the old version I had so as I can now just pay the upgrade price as opposed to the full price. The emial support was very helpful. I have since purchased the upgrade. Hope to see you all around and I am sure while working on this project the next few weeks I will be lurking and asking questions.
You can go for the upgrade (probably a better plan) or
tell us when your year was up and I'll see if I can point
you at a version that was still within your year -- last time
I checked, they had most of the old versions still on the
download site -- you just have to know how to change
the download url to get it. Pretty easy.
