I created a slide show on proshow gold and inserted video clips. When I play the show, the video clips are shaky. The extension on the video clip is MOD. Should I convert the video to another extension?

MOD files that JVC camera produces are really just MPEG-2 files.
Try to rename the MOD file extensions to what they really are, MPG files. Then check if it works.
