Build 1974 - preview slow
I have installed 1974 and the preview is very very slow. This is while making a show. It shows just half of the picture. Or when it is trying to build up the preview is shows the same picture twice more or less.

Anyone else having trouble with the preview window?

I have not heard anyone else comment on that issue, but here is
something you can try. If you had worked on this show with a
previous version, try exiting Proshow, delete the showname.pxc
(NOT the .psh file) then re-start it. The showname.pxc file is a temp
file that proshow uses and if it gets corrupted, very strange things
can happen. give that a shot (it's in the same directory as your show).

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

Lots of PIC and Arduino microprocessor stuff too !!

Hmmm -- the only other thing I have seen recently that
can give that is if any of the media (slides/music/etc) is
on an external drive (or even a CD) etc where the transfer
is slow. Not saying you're not seeing it, I just have not
heard anyone else complain about that "feature" yet in the
new build. There have been some comments on the Yahoo
group about making sure you un-install the old version
before you install the new version (of course, I'm still
running 1942 )

Personally, I'm stickin' with 1942 until either a feature I really want shows up or the issues settled down.
And reinstalling or falling back to a prior build is always an option if you want to test to see for sure that it's an issue with that build.

Build 1974 - preview slow: Solved
It was my monitor. I did a change in the preferences of hardwareacceleration. It is now set to full. No more problems with preview of pictures.
