Problem getting started on a show

I'm clicking on the NEW icon in the toolbar, the New Slide Show dialog window appears, I enter a name for the show and click "Create". But, the Folders List section is empty --- no folders listed. Help!

Ha! That happens to be the same reply I got when I had problems earlier this year, but then I at least had a folder to close and reopen. Now I have absolutely nothing!

Close and reopen the parent folder to the one you're looking for....
