Sound volume - to be lowered from the video clip
I am putting in a few little video clips into my slideshow, but need to turn down the volume on them, so they don't drown out the backing music. How do I do this please?

Hi,
I don't have Gold installed right now, but this is how it's done in Producer:
In Slide Options, Select your video layer with the mouse.
Go to Layer Settings > Video Clip Settings
Change the volume from the default 100%, to 50%, or whatever you want it to be.

Two ways.
Prior answer doesn't exactly match what you'll see in Gold but it's close, the same idea and it's on the Slide Options tab.
The other way is to go to the Show Options tab. Select Soundtrack. There's a slider on there for "Soundtrack During Other Sounds" and set that to whatever you want it to be--zero if you want the background off entirely.
