OS XP Pro SP3. Recently installed new system HDD and re-installed Pro Show Gold(PSG) Problem is that when I try to open PSG I get the folowing message "Proshow has encountered a problem and needs to close down" I have tried rebooting the computer and re-installing PSG to no avail.
Anyone any ideas what thew problem is?

G'day
Perhaps your install file is corrupted. Have you tried downloading your PSG version from Photodex "Your Products" you will need to be logged in to your account to do this and then try reinstalling again.
Hope this helps

It is recommended to install ProShow while your security programs are off.
How are you installing the program?

Yes I've tried all the fixes from Photodex. e.g. Compatibility Mode, removing items from the registry, removing Pxc files etc.

Have you also tried "Run as Administrator" ?
Something is blocking the program, I think, and it can only be Windows itself or your security settings or programs.
