Annual BBQ - I had to drive in the city!!

Postby nannybear » Sun Aug 19, 2007 4:51 pm

Havenn't posted in so long, and I know I haven't had a chance to watch all of the others out there  Only 10 minutes or so, and the reason that funny dog is on their so much is Bev doesn't have many pictures of her and that is her baby. She rescued her from abuse and loves Jenny to pieces. Cheers Nanny

What is that dog ???? It looks like 1/2 sharpei and 1/2 calico cat :D

That explains the visit to Vancouver (nowhere else I know has a sign on
a bridge like that for Stanley Park :D )

Looks like everybody had a good time.

Nice show, the kids shots were great, looks like a fantastic party. I thought the fireworks video was very high quality, is that DJ?

Don't worry about not viewing shows Nannybear, I think you do a superb job of watching and helping us out. You DO have a life too!

I'm finding this summer that I'm getting invited to things, I "might" not get an invite to, except I make a nice slideshow of the affair. Do you ever get that feeling? hehe We were at one party, and the hostess says "Kay and Fred are here to capture events" ....funny I thought we were there for the food and booze!!

Thanks for posting your show, I really enjoyed watching. I did repost my picture ...prepare to be dazzled by my beauty! Wear shades for first viewing.

Nannybear,

Looks like a fun time. My favorite pic is of Linden with his head up to the fence/bars and his tongue sticking out.... LOL

Thanks everyone!
Kay - the only time I am expected to take pics is at Brownies. I have told them I won't always bring my camera! that was one of Jennifer's backgrounds. I didn't have time to check my JB's, didn't have on Hotcakes and could download from Jen's site and have it right away! Your pic looks great too!

Deb - that is one of my favorite's too! The kids are just priceless......

Mikey - I love Juice Drops - you can make it say anything you want. I hat driving in the city, but I took all the back roads I could and mostly drove in farm country. Not as bad as coming from Horseshoe Bay. Jenny is a Sharpei, but that's what happens when someone doesn't love and care for a dog properly. She is doing way better now that Bev has her.

Cheers Jan

Hey, you didn't invite me or Mikey? (We both have "Fun Meters" and could have provided you with acurate scientific data about just how much fun everyone really had). But just "eyeballing" it (with my one eye), it looks like everyone had a blast!

Fun show! ~al

Well, you silly boys! Of course there was lots of wine. I brought a 4 liter bag just myself. That said, you don't want a show of people wandering with tons of "juice", especially with our wee ones. After all was said and done, John,Bev, Mark ( my hubby) settled into the quiet tent with a Spanish coffee and just relaxed. Mark had to work at 7:00 so had to be up by 6:00am. I was up by 7:00 and had quiet time to take pics of Bev's favorite space, it is really a nice garden even though they are in the city! Then I was off on my adventure back home by a different route. Hard to believe but it takes me 5 hours to get there!

Thanks for watching! hugs to you both....Jan

Jan, enjoyed your show. I just returned from Alberta last week after spending time having a family reunion and celebrating my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. It was a total "blast", she didn't know a thing about the party and that was the best part. Our whole family from BC was there, including my 6 kids and 11 grandkids, so with all the others it was quite a bunch. I, like you have a whole bunch of "people" pics so must get busy, except I had to go back to work this week and just can't seem to get into the swing of it yet! Retirement is only 4 months away. Take care.

Linda

Thanks guys, It was a blast. I'm the only one that stays over as everyone else lives over there.....great fun and they do it every year. It's their turn to come to my house now...

Pat how would you like me to send "green" to you. I think the grass would dry up if I mailed it to you

Linda, yup you have to love big families heh? and 90, wow that is great.

Cheers you two! Jan

Jan....
You already sent "green" to me by sharing such a great slideshow with photos of such a beautiful place. You can go ahead and send me "green" in the mail though....even if it does turn brown. Haven't you heard that in Arizona that the color green...IS brown? YUCK!!!! 8)

I'm SO in the wrong climate!
Take Care....

Hi Jen

Really enjoyd the show although couldn't quite understand why Grissom, Sara and Co weren't invited. I'm a newbie with PSP and raring to get going after returning from a two weeks cruise with our grandkids - unfortunately I have to get the grass cut and do other chores before we leave for a tour of Provence next week - life is really hard when you're retired! Time for a bottle of wine - see I've learned something already from this forum!

Provence France?? I have always wanted to go there since I read the books written by that English Couple. The first I think was "A Year in Provence". As for the crew, they were on a case and couldn't get the private jet. Maybe next year,. No wine for me til 5:00 ;{ Cheers Jan
